Many people that I discuss this issue believe that there is going to be a actual star (meteor) crash into the earth. This star is going to turn 1/3 of the waters wormwood and 1/3 of the people are going to perish because they became wormwood!

If you read about Wormwood correctly, you will see that we are not reading about a real star crashing to the earth. It is a description of Satan (Antichrist) being loosed, him and his minions.

Apocalypse 8:10-11 8:10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; 8:11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

There fell a great star from heaven (well, at one time there was no greater angel then Satan), burning as it were a lamp, (trying to look like "the light"), it fell upon the third part of the rivers (Satan/Antichrist started preaching to the people (waters)).

And the name if the star is called Wormwood (because Satan is bitter), and the third part of the waters became wormwood (bitter) and many men died of the waters ,because they were made bitter. (This does not mean that the bitter waters killed people, it means that people died spiritually because the men (people) were made bitter spiritually.)
