Og The king of Bashan mentioned in the conquest of that territory by Moses and the wanderlng tribes. Og and his people are said to have been "utterly destroyed." He was especially remembered by the Israelites for his great size; his iron bedstead measured nine by four cubits, or about thirteen by six feet. The account of the conquest in Deuteronomy speaks of him as the last of the Rephaim, a giantrace of that region.
