Isaiah 5:20
20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil;
that put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
KJV
Isaiah 30:25
25 And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers
and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter,
when the towers fall.
KJV
Note: Waters, rivers and streams are often references to
people, mountains governments and ships commerce:
Revelation 17:15
And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are
peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
KJV
Proverbs 31:14
She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
KJV
Isaiah 22:5
For it is a day of trouble, and of treading down, and of perplexity by the Lord
GOD of hosts in the valley of vision, breaking down the walls, and of crying to
the mountains.
KJV
It is not my intention to convince anyone of the meaning of waters, ships or
mountains, but to give reason for the reader to think about it. To start your
own study and see where it leads. |
Isaiah 32:5-8
5 The vile person shall be no more called liberal,
nor the churl said to be bountiful.
6 For the vile person will speak villany,
and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to
utter error against the LORD, to make empty
the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink
of the thirsty to fail.
7 The instruments also of the churl
are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even
when the needy speaketh right.
8 But the liberal deviseth liberal
things; and by liberal things shall he stand.
